The plants are basically used for handling of liquid petrochemical products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, bitumen, heavy fuel oil etc.
There are two basic options for the loading/unloading of rail tank cars:
a) Bottom loading/unloading
b) Top loading/unloading
With the use of a vapor recovery unit, our plants will conform to the principles of ecological sustainability, environmental protection and energy-saving production technologies.
Apart from building new rail tank car loading stations, Combit also refurbishes existing loading stations.
The rail tank car loading stations designed and built by Combit, gives:
control of loading/ unloading processes which is a complex program-control approach through automation system
opportunity of synchronous loading/unloading of mixed consists of tetra and eight axial tank cars
opportunity of loading/unloading different groups of oil products (both black and white) in one overpass
recirculation system (closed contour) for heating tough oil products, using thermal oil as heat carrier (instead of using steam) which allows for faster heating and unloading of cargo and eliminates “caramelizing” and other types of damage to the transported product
basic technological equipment located either in the area of the railroad overpass or out of it
wide choice of proven rundown devices and other technological equipment
opportunity of automatic separate loading for all types of oil products
opportunity of both top and bottom filling of any type of tank cars
